The Shoebox is the Wrong Shoes Theatre Company's creative space, in the heart of Swindon. It's where we create our work, where we share our resources with emerging artists and provide training for actors as well as for the local community.

The Shoebox studio theatre is a multi-purpose performance space based in the heart of Swindon's Railway Village. As well as hosting contemporary theatre and new work, we also provides access to actor and performance training for all ages through the Actors' Institute.
Our aim is to use the Shoebox to provide free space for emerging artists to develop new work and offer affordable access to the arts for everyone in Swindon - a safe place for everyone, where creativity is nurtured and risk-taking thrives!

At the Actors' Institute we provide high-quality actor training for people of all ages and levels of experience. From youth theatre and classes for beginners, to masterclasses for actors and a one-year programme, we have something for everyone.
